"Here are a few of my favorite — and most helpful
sites. There are many others but these have been most
helpful for me as I began - and continue - my screenwriting
career."
Simply click on their name to visit their web site.

(script "wanted" board indespensible when
you're ready to pitch your writing)
(For Utah/Idaho writers you need to be listed with the
commission)
(Occasionally has "writers wanted" jobs in
Hollywood)
(These folks have what you need to make your script
look like a pro - and their prices are reasonable)
(Freelance 'writers' board opportunities)
(Some of my films are featured here — shameless plug
for myself..)
(Want to read the scripts you saw in the theatre? They're
here and you can download them)
(Great site with articles and script ideas)
(Movie downloadable screeplays from feature films and
TV)
(Great screenwriter's board and occasional job offers)
(Drew's site for more downloadable screenplays)
(Terrific site for sales, info, what's selling etc.)
(Win the right contest — get a career. This is the place
that has them all)
(Just what it says, various writing jobs)
(You need to start reading the "trades" and
see what is 'selling' in tinseltown either Variety or
Hollywood Reporter are the best)
(There are a number of screenwriting magazines, this
one is one of the best)
(Great site for aspiring and working screenwriters)
(My personal choice for screenwriting software. Check
'em out)
(Another good site for chats, and networking)
(A great screenwriting "guru", teacher and
all around good guy. Used to teach screenwriting at
USC and now is on his own. Knows his stuff in spades..tell
him I sent you, he won't believe it but tell him anyway...LOL)
There
are any number of other sites I won't mention other
than to say you need to know about the Internet Movie
Data Base, the Studio sites and the newsgroups. Just
put the appropriate word in your search engine and you'll
find thousands.
If
you have a specific question — leave me a message and
I'll try to answer it.
